It was a heart-warming sight to see people from all walks of life join us in our blood donation drive and contributing to the 3,500 bags of blood needed on a weekly basis.
National Blood Centre deputy director 1, Dr Tun Maizura Mohd Fathullah said, “During the movement control order in March and April, there was a 40% decrease in our blood collection supply compared to the same period last year.”
In this time of crisis, hospitals are still in need of more blood than ever, and your 15 minutes could mean years in someone else’s life.
